The Trigger:

I am a type 1 diabetic. I have always had a couple of medical issues along the way but the final straw was when I went in for a perforated appendix that nearly killed me. I was septic but made it to the hospital just in time. I believe poor management in my health and fitness led to that happening. It was difficult for me to be consistent on my new journey but Fitbod made that so much easier. Now nearly 3.5 years later, I have had no hospital visits and gone from a deathly 119 lbs to a healthy 165 lbs. My goal is to reach 215 lbs by the end of next year.

The Change:

Fitbod helps me stay focused and organized. Making sure I hit and surpass all my goals. I owe all my current success to Fitbod.

Through the app and my dedication, I have gained more confidence in all aspects of life. Socially, professionally, mentally, emotionally, etc... I have been so much happier. I’ve been eating a lot healthier and cut out a lot of bad habits. (Partying, drinking, etc...)

Right now my goal is to be aesthetic pleasing. Get my A1C back to around 7. And to spread awareness that no matter what happens to you, you can take control of your life and decide your destiny.

Results:

I have gained more confidence. I feel like I’ve added 20 years to my life ever since I started with Fitbod.

It is important to never forget some form of cardio. Always remember mind to muscle will give you the best results. Healthy eating is also what will help you the most.

Every time I say (in my mind), “man I wish Fitbod could do that“, I do a little research and realize they had that particular feature all along. Fitbod knows what you’re trying to accomplish and makes sure they provide every tool for you to be successful!

Advice for others:

You must decide “One Day or Day One”. Once you make the decision to start, DON’T STOP! Stay focused and do not let any distractions get in the way. Allow no negativity in your life.
