The future of fitness lies in data, and we’re looking for first Data Analyst to help usher in the next phase of growth for Fitbod. Data analytics is a core competency at Fitbod, and you will work with a leadership team with broad experience in data analysis and a proven record of turning health and activity data into concrete fitness guidance.
As an early hire in a pivotal role, you’ll not only be the go-to person for Fitbod data but also help navigate uncharted product, business, and marketing challenges.

Do deep data dives into our product to order better understand user behavior, how recent changes have affected metrics, and where optimization opportunities may lie in the conversion funnel and user life-cycle.
Iterate and fine-tune Fitbod’s flagship workout recommendation engine, by leveraging advanced statistical modeling, machine learning, or data mining techniques.
Measure and monitor core business metrics such as active users, customer retention, subscriber acquisition cost, customer lifetime value, and more.
Also work on data-analytic projects in life-cycle marketing, including driving subscriber growth by managing our paid marketing channels and strategize opportunities to improve advertising efficiency.
Communicate your findings in presentations, build dashboards and visualizations, and be the go-to person for questions about data.
Design, run and analyze A/B or multivariate hypothesis tests.
Fluency in SQL, bash scripting, relational databases, and a programming language such as Python, Java, R, or Scala.
Fluency in Python, including familiarity with For python, familiarity with libraries including numpy, scipy, and pandas.
Solid understanding of statistical inference, experimental design, and analysis.
Apply statistical and econometric models on large datasets.
B.S / B.A Degree.

Given that you will work across a variety of domains in this role, the ideal hire will some experience in product analytics, marketing, and operations analytics.
Prior experience in iOS app Store keyword analysis & ASO.
Prior experience with testing advertising creative hypothesis and optimize bid spend.
Prior experience with the following marketing channels: Facebook, Instagram, Apple Search Ads, Youtube, Snapchat and Google AdWords.
Experience using mobile attribution tools (Apps Flyer).
Fitness-minded, practicing strength-trainer or possess knowledge about strength-training best practices.
